What can be done today?

What can be done today
to keeps interference away?

Everyone has something that always puts them at ease, that brings them joy, no matter how many times they experience it. For me, it is being outside in nature during the spring, summer or fall when the weather is comfortable for me and life is singing around me. Regardless of whether I am sitting on a grassy hill watching butterflies and bees or my toes are in the sand while sea breezes bring the scent of ocean and the sound of waves, I am at bliss. Even in winter I can find a cozy bliss in front of the fire, or on snowy winter days, look out a window to admire snowfall and a world covered in white.

Another is when I am writing; I love to write. Usually nature inspires my writing, or living beings of some kind. You will not catch me writing "still life". I used to write a lot when I was a teen and into my twenties. And then I stopped. I used to use writing to bring happiness during times of depression. Perhaps I thought I did not need to write when I was over being depressed or maybe I thought I was no longer able to write with such passion. But then I picked it back up again and found that positive emotions flowed even more gracefully from my pen. And like my shadow, the writer in me had been there inconspicuously following me around this whole time, just waiting for me to remember it was there. So I began to write again. First short blurbs, short stories, then poetry and now a memoir in the works. As part of this blog's mission, to celebrate bliss, I am sharing poetry and short prose that expanses a large part of my life, and I invite you to journey with me through the bliss of feeling my emotions and letting go of my stories to make room for the new ones. For I have found it is true, the more I show up for myself today, the more interference is kept at bay. As is with nature, a work of art, whether it be a song, a painting or a poem, evokes bliss:)

So what can be done today? Whatever you desire. Whatever feels good to you. Love yourself into bliss. Celebrate your life by being happy, choosing that be your birth right. Pain will always exist in a world that is experiencing and realizing the resurrecting power of love. Believe love your birth right. It is why you are here after all. Ask yourself whether you choose to believe you are only here to live pain and then die and exist no more. Does your heart really believe that? Or can your heart imagine a bliss and choose to make it real? This is the hope we find within us that we can create our life right now anew, not clinging to anything of the past, and create it to be one we love, loving who we are and are becoming and being happy with ourselves no matter what external forces may come to try and interfere. Today, actively love yourself by choosing to act in ways that your heart knows will make you happy. Be mindful of your heartfullness and live your truth. Do things you know will make you happy, because you are here to love and that begins with loving yourself.
